Dedicated to the memory of David Edward Jones

This site is a tribute to our amazing dad, grandad (AKA gaga) and friend, David. He is much loved and will always be remembered.

Please feel free to add any messages of support, loving memories &/or stories and even songs that you shared with our dad.  We'd also love for you to upload any pictures or videos you have of dad.

A celebration of David's life

We sadly lost our amazing dad on the 21st February 2024.  Although we can all agree it was cut cruelly short, we'd love for you to join us in celebrating dad's life and memory on the 22nd March.

Funeral service:
To be held at Woking Crematorium* on Friday 22nd March 2024 at 3pm.

*Parking is limited at this venue so please bear this in mind when travelling to the crematorium.

Dress Code:
As you may well know, dad was very proud in his appearance and always made the effort to look his best, so we encourage all guests to wear whatever they feel most smart in; whether that be black or full of colour.

Dad also loved and appreciated a good shoe and a nice watch! So if you can, to honour our dapper dad we'd love for you to wear your best shoes and favourite watch :)

Wake:
Please join us for a few drinks (and nibbles) to celebrate dad at the Nags Head, which is approximately a 5 minute drive from the crematorium.

Family Flowers only please. We do however, wish to encourage donations to either Macmillan or Lymphoma Research Trust. Macmillan provided a lot of help and advice to us and dad in the last few months, and we would also like to donate to Lymphoma Research Trust in the hopes that more research and development can go into the very rare type of lymphoma that dad. Thank you.
